Hi all,
We spent too long at Black point after returning for White point. We managed to be good for most of one nite and then got hammered with 30+knot winds right on the nose. We were bouncing around like a cork for a day and night. Thursday we made for Staniel in 20 + knots wind not making over 3 miles per hour wide open. the waves were crashing over the bow and not makinf Skipper very happy. We finally made the turn at Harvey Cay and had the wind on our beam. Then we made better time but had to be careful about broaching. We were happy to get tucked in between Little and Big Major Cays. Higheeled, Snow Goose and we were very happy to have a good nights sleep. Snow Goose, had anchored by Thunderball Club, where we were on the way down and after another boat moved we came down to join them. There is better reception here for internet, although right now it is minimal. We wanted to wish Penelope Helen Rose Bushee, a happy birthday yesterday Mar 5, but couldn't get through.
We had hoped to hear from Cal & Nancy as they were planning on leaving George Town this week end. We will be here for a few more days and maybe can connect.
Enough for now, Fair Winds and following seas, Ken, Francie & Skipper
