We arrived in Beaufort after a rousing sail up Port Royal Sound and anchored in Factory Creek. the wind was kicking up pretty good and tornadoes were expected. We managed our shopping and laundry, as well as running new wire to Snow Gooses Chart plotter. We stayed 3 days waiting for the front to move through. On the 29 we left and stopped at Steamboat landing for the night. Good news, chart plotter is up and working.
4-30 we headed out and bypassed Charleston and stopped at Price Creek. 5-1 we headed for Georgetown, with the wind on the nose so no sail today. We managed to have the wind on the nose and the tide wrong all the way. It seemed to take forever, but we saw our first alligators while traveling the AICW. We saw 10 between Price Cr. and Georgetown
