We did a little beach combing and socializing the first few days at GTC and the the front came through with rain, heavy at times and a lot of wind It seemed to blow 24 hours a day for 3 days, blowing 40 kt and making us very happy to be tied to a dock. It seemed unreal when the wind stopped all at once after the front passed. We stayed a couple of days longer getting together with Deb & Kevin and Deb's mom and husband . We also strayed on down to Pineapples for Friday night party and band. Saturday we peeled ourselves off the dock and headed for Manjack on the high tide. It seemed so great to be on the anchor and free. We managed some more beach combing and a little more partying. Tuesday finds us back in GTC for resupply and waiting out another front.
