Christmas morning was a little groggy, but a bunch of us cruisers were getting a pot luck dinner planned for the afternoon. We had turkey and stuffing, a couple of hams, all sorts of appetizers, mash potatoes, gravy and a wonderful assortment of pies and other deserts. There was so much food we could have fed us all again, but everyone loves leftovers. Saturday was a, I don't want to do anything day, with some reading, and catching the blog up. Sunday we lunched with Dawn & Richard in Old Town at Maria's Cafe, very good food & grog. On Sunday evening Sam took us with the Marina bus rubbernecking Hutchins Island array of lights. What a wonderful sight!! A single 5000 sf house with a Christmas light set that is rumored to cost 150,000.00 to set up!! 12/28/15 Rei stopped over and took us to Walmart,West Marine, and the ABC store for last minute supplies. Dawn & Richard dog sat for Skipper, making both parties happy. After arriving back, putting away supplies and picking Skipper up from Dawn & Richard, we took him to the park and Francie was walking him to the Marina and I would dinghy over. As I was leaving the park area , I glanced over to where I had left my bike and wonderful seat. Lo and Behold what to my eyes did appear but my wonderful seat, Bicycle included, with basket, chain, and broken lock. What a wonderful Christmas present! We had game night on Zama Dawn after one of Dawn's special turkey salad filled rings, which was great. Tuesday was spent on laundry etc. and "Dock Downers" with Ginny & Gene and their family, a get together before leaving.
