We departed Sunset Bay on Wednesday 12/30/15 after our ***** mechanic, Francie changed the oil pressure sending unit, which happens quite frequently, and she fits in the space to change it as well as many other things. We passed through Peck Lake, Hobe Sound and Jupiter before reaching our destination for the evening , Lake Worth. The following day, along with Maggie , we left Lake worth inlet at 1200 hrs at slack tide. It was a little rock and rolly for a few miles and then settled in to a nice sail with 15 kt winds from the SE. We made the Little Bahama Bank by 2230 and continued to Great Sale under power as the wind direction was on the nose. We stopped for Skippers run and continued on to Crab for a swim and another dog run. Our sail in to GTC was slow but the wind was great, arriving to enter Customs and Immigration at 1130. We got through quickly and wandered over to the Wrecking Tree for some cracked conch and Kaliks. Tom and Ginny were checking in as well, but decided to go around the Whale while they could before weather set in. We moved into Black Sound at high tide and to Donny,s Marina for a few days till the front goes through. We hope to go exploring the outer cays after that.
