Since our last post we have made quite a few trips to outer cays and then back to GTC to avoid the weather fronts. We sailed to Grand Cay, one of the most NW cays with Circe II and experienced the life on that cay which although closer to the US was a ways from the supply chain of the Bahamas. The people are friendly and upon entering town you will most probably meet Rosie, proprietor and entrepreneur of Rosies restaurant, hotel, fish market, liquor store and a few other businesses. I asked him about a good place to eat and he pointed at Rosie's restaurant patting his large belly and saying I eat there every day.
Welcome
From Grand we dinghied to a beach between Grand and Walker Cays where we met a local fisher man whom Bill dickered for 4 lobsters , which we had for dinner. The following day we hauled anchor and moved to Double Breasted Cays and explored the mangrove swamps.
We then moved to Allen's Pensacola Cays to spend the night.
We continued to Manjack on the following day and from there back to GTC.
