After checking in to the Bahamas we were invited to a breakfast on 12/24/14 at the Green Turtle Club along with the other cruisers. What a great time this was with Christmas carols and all. The following day Christmas there was a pot luck at Brendals dive shop with Jeff and some other musicians playing and singing. We had a great time. We rented a golf cart on friday and did some shopping and touring of Green Turtle. No trip would be complete without Skipper having a beach to run on. Saturday we decided to go to to Manjack cay for some island hopping. It is a short run and we were anchored and walking on the island to the north shore and beach. Skipper had to be leashed, which did not make him happy, because of chickens running loose there. He definitely enjoyed the beach though.
From there we went to Powell Cay where we met up with Cori & Dale from First Flight. We did some beach coaming and snorkeling before happy hour on their boat. Ken made some potato donuts later on. We decided to return to GTC for New Years and the local Junkanoo and were treated to a wonderful time by all the locals.
