Jan 14-22 Manjack,Allans Pensacola, Foxtown,Carters, Yankee Cays

1/15A thursday, of course bank day, and the arrival of Kevin & Deb Stone on Grace from Orwell VT.  They had been looking for a crossing window for quite a while.  They rafted up with us and left for Manjack on the 17th.  While there we managed to find a few conch, which I dispatched with ease.  How about that Barb & Bill..  The skinning  technique I am still working on though.  Francie made cracked conch the first nite and conch fritters the next.  Delicious!!   The next AM Francie and I gave each other hair cuts.  She probably won't need another for a year or so.

We left from there and went to Allans Pensacola as K& D had not anchored there before and went ashore.  Kevin was anxious to get a sim card for his phone and we knew that GTC was on thursday like the bank, but upon a call to BTC found that Foxtown had an office that was open on the 6th and 20th. so off we went. We located the shop and Kevin got his phone working.  We were told that at the Shell Station there was a restaurant and that Judy was a great cook.  We can agree on that now.  Had a wonderful meal and settled in for the night.
The next am we left after dingying around a wonderful sea of rocks and small cays where we found  one special for Skipper. We sailed to Carters Bank another US missile tracking station.  We visited Yankee  cay and Jack Cay which had a nice sandy beach.  That evening we were treated to a great dinner on Grace and then played cribbage.
Next we headed back to GTC as another front with strong wind predicted was coming through on sat.  We will ride it out here in Black Sound a very well protected harbor.
