We left Port Royal after our wonderful Thanksgiving Day with the cruisers and some locals that enjoy being at the marina. Our intent was to go outside at Port Royal Sound , but after sticking our nose out decided to run the ICW to Thunderbolt. We enjoyed a good sleep and left Wassaw Sound at o dark thirty deciding to run as far outside as possible before anchoring for the evening. After going by several inlets and making great time we decided to go in St Marys inlet . We have been in and out that inlet after dark and decided we would anchor at Cumberland Island. The following morning we were greeted by Dean & Susan Perry on Autumn Born and later by Lynea & Leonard Rosner from Antares. We spent the day roaming the beach, checking out wildlife and visiting the ruins.
On Dec 2 we left and headed for St Augustine another of our favorite stops. We arrived at Hidden Harbor Marina on the San Sebastian River on dec 3rd. After resupplying and checking out the consignment shop, a must, we left on dec 5th to make New Smyrna at dark. A 60 nm day. The following days we stopped at Palm Shores and Ft Pierce before finally making into Stuart at Sunset Bay Marina where we were greeted by Kevin Deb Stone on Grace, and Dawn and Richard on Zama Dawn. We had mad great time and will take a few days here.
