11/13--11/16 Sisters Creek to Coca Beach

We left Ferindina Beach around 1200 and traveled 25.5 km to Sisters Creek, a wide spot in the ICW, but a great dog place which Lu and Mike had stopped at before. We did a happy hour or so with Lu,Mike and Paul another boater from Dream Seeker. He has a pup named Windy. Sunday we continued the trip to Matanzas Inlet. We were anchored next to Fort Matanzas and went ashore. Upon arrival back at the boat, my new phone decided to go swimming. It was guarenteed to be waterproof, unfortunately they did not give it swimming lessons. We left early and on high tide, to get over the shoaling at the entrance. We still managed to leave our mark on it though. It is lucky we left when we did as later we heard another boat that was anchored there calling about being grounded. Our next stop was Rockhouse Creek at the Ponce Inlet. We went ashore and to the beach where Skipper ran and ran. It was a great stop for all of us and the girls did some shelling on the beach. Our next stop 49km south was Coca Beach wher Lu and Mike stopped on the way north. Mike wanted another stromboli at Ryans Pizza & Pub. This is excellent if you have the chance, do it Once again a great stop for Skipper and he also enjoyed the outside tables at the pub. We have pictures of Ft.Matanzas,Ponce Inlet and Lu,Mike and Ken there.
